Our journey began with a simple, yet powerful idea: to offer computer courses for adult migrants and refugees. This initiative took flight through our partnership with the UNICEF “Spilno” project. Spilno is more than just a project; it’s a beacon of hope, helping Ukrainian refugees find their footing in a world that’s new and often daunting.

When we teamed up with Spilno in Poznań, our vision was clear. We wanted to design a program that was not just useful, but tailor-made for the unique challenges faced by refugees. Our aim was to teach more than just computer skills. We wanted to empower these courageous individuals to embrace their new environment, using technology as a bridge to a better life.

“Education is not just about going to school and getting a degree. It’s about widening your knowledge and absorbing the truth about life. Education helps you understand the world around you better. It helps you build opinions and have points of view on things in life.”  – Shakuntala Devi

Working on the Spilno Project opened our eyes to the real struggles of refugees. It wasn’t just about learning; it was about understanding their world and shaping our courses to fit their needs. This journey has been incredibly rewarding, allowing us to touch lives and offer a helping hand to those seeking new beginnings.

Crafting our curriculum wasn’t a solo mission. We reached out to the refugee community, listening and learning from their experiences. This collaboration led to a rich, diverse learning experience, blending technical know-how with lessons in social and cultural adaptation.

Our program has grown since those early days with Spilno. Now, it reaches far beyond, touching the lives of migrants and refugees all around the globe. The lessons we learned from Spilno continue to inspire our teaching methods and course improvements. We’re deeply committed to providing educational paths that not only teach but also help migrants and refugees find their place in new communities. This is more than just education; it’s about building bridges to brighter futures.
