For the past 8 years, our charity foundation has been organizing New Year’s performances for migrant children and the residents of Poznań, Poland. “The Town Musicians of Bremen,” “Pinocchio,” “Alice in Wonderland,” “Pippi Longstocking,” and “Beauty and the Beast” are just some of the fairy tales our little audience got to enjoy.
This project has become not just a tradition but a vivid example of cultural integration and mutual understanding. This year, our show titled “The Mysteries of the Magic Forest” gathered over 800 viewers, marking an important step towards bringing together various cultures and nationalities. In total, our New Year’s performances have been attended by over 3,000 people.
The success of the show is thanks to the efforts of more than 50 volunteers—adults and children from different countries—who gave their time and talent to create an unforgettable celebration. Their efforts brought to life both good and evil characters on stage, participating in an exciting presentation where, as always, good triumphed, and the holiday was saved.
Every year, all tickets are given away within just a few days, highlighting the immense interest and support of our community for this event. This not only shows the popularity of our performances but also confirms that cultural events can be a powerful tool for social integration.
We’re proud that for eight years, we’ve been able to bring joy to both children and adults, introducing them to a diversity of cultures and traditions. These performances help migrants and refugees feel part of a large and friendly community, while Poznań residents get a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere of other countries.
We’re grateful to every volunteer, spectator, and project partner—together, we’re creating something more than just a performance. We’re building bridges between hearts and cultures, making the world a warmer and kinder place.
